Adam began studying Tang Soo Do from Chuck Norris when Adam was a young boy. His mother was very concerned that almost daily he was being bullied in school, and so she sought out self-defense lessons for him. She found the newly opened Chuck Norris Tang Soo Do Karate studio in Sherman Oaks, California, and Adam began a journey into the study and eventual teaching of this ancient art of self defense, physical, emotional and spiritual development.

Adam began teaching in 2016, and in 2017, he was invited to teach in Romania and brought Tang Soo do there for the first time. Upon returning to California, Adam has taught privately for the Rancho Palos Verdes Department of Parks and Recreation at Ryan Park, and is a resident Instructor for Adrian's Place which Adam feels is a wonderful center for development of all children and adults achieving their full potential.

Adam specializes in teaching kids and adults with special challenges and needs.  Some with challenges to their vision including those with blindness, as well as other physical and emotional challenges. All his students are awesome.

Adam has seen the dramatic results of Tang Soo Do, especially the integration of movement, flexibility, and physical coordination all leading to inner confidence and peace of mind, as they increase their physical abilities and advancement, while also learning practical self-defense techniques that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Adam also teaches "Parents and Me Self-Defense Classes" which have great bonding and safety benefits for parents (of all ages) and children (6 and older), from all walks of life, genders, orientations, to study together and be able to practice together.

Adam has Black Belt Certificates from The National Tang Sao Do Federation, Hwa Rang World Tang Soo Do Federation, and a "Kyosa Nim" Teaching Certificate, from Grandmasters Chuck Norris, Bob Wall and Ho Sik Pak, respectively. Adam continues to learn and grow and often feels he learns as much from his students as they do from him. Adam looks forward in assisting you and your child in achieving full potential. And as we joyfully say, "May your inner strength always guide. -Tang Soo!"
